I am attempting to integrate facebook connect login to work with the site. Basically, if you have a facebook account, you can click register and allow email/etc and it will pull your info from facebook for your account. Then you can simply login that way.

I still have to moderate comments at the moment. I don’t totally trust everyone. ;)

Looks like it works to me. It does NOT work in the Developer Version of Google Chrome, however. Not sure why. But it seems to work in IE and Firefox.

2009 has been an interesting year to say the least.

A. I am thankful for Sara.

Without her, I would go insane. I love you.

B. I am thankful for my family.

Not just the people I live with mind you, but those who keep in touch all the time, including the ones I rediscovered through Facebook. Sometimes they frustrate me; but that’s just how life goes.  But, other times, it’s a total blessing and I am thankful for them. I love you Tod, Paula, Mikey, Moni, Melissa, and Cory!  I am also thankful for my niece Brandy for keeping me entertained with her trials and tribulations. lol.

C. I am thankful for my friends.

Not just my real life friends, but even some of my online pals who I’ve never met in person.  Jarly is really the only one I socialize with in person any more. I miss hanging out with Mike. I have no idea where he’s been.  But, my online pals are just as important to me; like Larry, Tim, Monte, Susan, Helen, Mandy, Ed, and Gale. Even Dana (aka Fink).  I adore you all.

C. I am thankful for Facebook.

I joined facebook. This allowed me to find some of my old college friends that I haven’t heard from since I graduated in 1992.  Shout outs to Tony, Allen, Gary and Andy! Can I get a “schwimmenfische and nudenfladt”?  Also, through a fluke, I rediscovered my cousin Jessi on facebook which has allowed me to reconnect with someone from my early childhood.  She’s also pretty dorky like me which is good. lol.

D. I am thankful for the internet.

Yeah, that’s right; the internet.  It’s my primary outlet into the world since I am disabled and home bound.  It’s let me connect with my family outside my home, meet really great friends online, allow me to absorb information and educate myself; and even play Shot-Online.

Things could be worse.  I am thankful that they are not.

Au revoir mon amie.

Yeah I know I haven’t really put any new updates on here lately.  Mostly, I’ve been sick so I haven’t felt like writing much.  I’m spending most of my free time playing Shot-Online and doing my Facebook apps.  I have all but quit going to MySpace. It just doesn’t interest me to go there any more, so please don’t feel offended if I have ignored your friend requests on MySpace.

I also don’t really use Twitter, either, but you will find me rambling on at Facebook here and there. Maybe I will weigh in on the healthcare debate here in a couple days.

So I made a facebook account. I know, big whoop de do. All the cool kids are doing it!

Here’s my official Facebook page. Accept no imitations.
Elaneous on Facebook!

I play a few apps too. Mafia Wars, Vampire Wars, and Street Racing. If you play them too, add me as a friend. :P
