Oh yes, ASCAP thinks having ringtones play when you’re in public is a copyright violation. Heh. While I suppose if I make them myself, this may be true; however, if I have purchased a ringtone from a store, the license comes with it and I can play it as often as I like as long as it’s on the damn phone.
I say suck it, ASCAP!
What’s the deal with people who insist on being drama whores in social situations? Notably Shot-Online. There’s a few people who like to go around talking shit about me that is completely untrue and unwarranted.
I mean, someone asks where some of our guild members went and I calmly stated that they left for $OTHER_PERSON’s guild and now someone who has access to our forum is now telling $OTHER_PERSON that I am saying despicable horrible things about him on our boards! Come on! I did absolutely no such thing. Not to mention $OTHER_PERSON insists on saying I don’t play with other guildies or help them — which I do EVERY DAY for several hours a day. No, I don’t stay in the game for 15 hours a day like some people because well, I have other things I like to do, too! I leave at 9pm EST most days. Don’t like it? Too bad.
These children really need to turn off their internet and play XBox or Playstation. They have no business being in a MMOG where they have to forge social interactions.
I had a great day yesterday. It was my sister’s husband’s mother’s birthday. We went out and celebrated. She is currently in cancer treatment and feeling quite well atm, so we all had a good cheerful time.
Then we left the restaurant and ran into my “brother”. I have no desire to see the man ever as he insists on carrying an axe against me replete with a complete lack of respect for who I am. I am not going to say I hate him, because I don’t give him that much of my attention. Suffice it to say I have no like nor love for him and I will not cry at his funeral. Hell, I won’t even attend. He has no respect for me, so I refuse to give him any. And, if he reads this, I don’t give a damn. But, he’s self-centered and egotistical enough he’d come to my house and yell about it and threaten me with bodily harm.
This phrase is fully overused in the English language.
For one thing, it’s impossible to do/give/bring 110 percent. I get tired of hearing people use the phrase to describe their desire for something or their dedication to something as it’s just so freaking trite and meaningless.
It seems to be a common phrase used on reality shows to convince the judges or other teammates not to kick their asses to the curb, even though we, as viewers can clearly see that they’re not even giving 80 percent, let alone a drop more.
Please people, stop using this phrase!
