One reason I really dislike FedEx is their online tracking system. Or, more precisely, their lack of an online tracking system. Oh sure you can go log into their website and put your tracking number into the box, but if it’s not been delivered yet you will only see origin scans and pickups. They do not ever bother to update the current location of your package in their online tool.
In my opinion, they may as well remove this from their site since it provides exactly ZERO usefulness.

I have now owned the Logitech Cordless Wave Keyboard Pro and the MX1100 mouse that came with it for a little over a month and have decided to review it and my experience. It is the 2.4ghz model. Here is the Product Page.
First of all, I ordered it directly from Logitech’s website. I received free shipping and 30% off with a promotional discount, so I got it shipped for $105 instead of the usual $129 plus shipping. They also profess to ship items in stock on the same day, which they do not. My experience was that my item wasn’t shipped for 3 days. Sales is unable to have any contact with warehousing as I called to ask about the shipment and was told they could tell me nothing.
Overall, the ordering experience was a C-.
The Keyboard
It’s very comfortable to type on. I had been using a Microsoft split keyboard prior to this purchase and it required a couple of days of adjustment. The palm-pad/wrist-rest is very cushy and has somewhat of a fabric feel. The keys give a bit of a tactile response when pressed and are all the same size (except for special keys like shift, alt, ctrl, and such).
It does not have an insert key above the arrow keys, which I miss every single day. This, to me, is quite annoying, but it does seem that almost every keyboard coming down the pipe is missing it. It has a load of special keys including a few which are apparently Vista specific that pretty much do nothing for me since I use XP Professional. It has standard media keys as well.
My biggest complaint is that it has a very laggy response when pressing keys sometimes. Usually, after not typing on it for several seconds, when you start typing it ignores a key at the beginning. The response timing is horrible. This keyboard is definitely not recommended for a gamer. I am going to go back to my Microsoft Natural Elite until I find another corded keyboard and only use this when I NEED to use a cordless keyboard (i.e. not when sitting behind my desk).
Overall, I give the keyboard a B+.
The Mouse
The mouse is an MX-1100. Logitech sells this mouse separately as well.
It is the most uncomfortable mouse I have ever used. I would rather use a tiny half-mouse designed for a laptop. This mouse absolutely requires the user use a claw-grip which makes absolutely no sense as it’s not a gaming mouse. (I am a palm-grip user.) It has horrendous response time. If you let it sit more than 3 seconds you have to jiggle it back and forth for it to start being sensed again. While this is by design; it’s to save battery life. It’s positively annoying when you’re trying to do something like fine-tune precision movements as it will shut itself off while you’re doing it!
The entire front of the mouse slants forward, forcing you to hold it claw-grip style or pushing your entire hand forward at a 40 degree angle to use the buttons. But, the buttons do work. I guess I can say that. The DPI settings available in the setup allow you to pick several different settings, but the mouse buttons on it only allow you to choose two.
Overall, I give the mouse an F.
I would buy the corded version of the keyboard, however. After this experience, I will not be looking for any more cordless keyboard or mice, unless they are a high-end brand like Razer.
I made jokes about this thing after seeing the ads on TV. But, yesterday, I was offered one by my nephew, so I tried it.
You can see what it looks like at Checkers website on their homepage (at least as of this writing). It is a beef patty with thinly sliced prime rib, sauteed red onions, bacon and a seasoned mayonaisse all on texas toast style bread (albeit not as thick as normal texas toast).
I am ashamed to say that it was rather delicious. My only complaint would be that the beef patty was a bit small considering the hype.
Sweet. Two advertising rants in a row.
This one is about the recent Dominos “Bailout” spots. Of course they are trying to intimate that they are giving you a GREAT DEAL when infact, they’ve been selling those pizzas and sandwiches for $5 each for months.
The sandwiches aren’t worth $5 and are about 1cm thick with meat. The rest is all bun. They’re not worth anything near $5 each. The pizzas aren’t much better. They put so little toppings on them that they may as well just call it “cheesy bread” in round form.
I can think of much better food to spend $15 on that is way more filling than their offerings. Plus, to use the government financial bailout as a marketing gimmick sickens me when our economy is in it’s current state. Dominos earns my list of companies to boycott.
I have decided that I am never buying another Lasko product again for the rest of my life. The last two fans I have purchased that were Lasko products have been extremely shoddy and had a seriously decreased lifecycle.
After having one for about 11 months, I had just bought another of their 18 inch oscillating stand fan back in November and rarely run it above medium. Actually, given that the first one lasted less than a year I should have been wiser. Anyway, Monday night at 4am, the one I purchased in November bit it hard… I thought it was going to last, but it kept getting slower and slower and slower and starting making some truly obnoxious noises that fans should not make! It finally came to a griding and loud halt, meeting its death at approximately 4am leaving me without a fan to sleep with.
That’s two Lasko fans in 16 months that have simply dropped dead on me and I meticulously clean them and dust them out with compressed air. I have determined they are junk.
The new one is a Honeywell that I had shipped overnight. Amazon Prime is nice. 
I will probably review it and post about it. The thing blows more air on low than the Lasko did on high.
