One reason I really dislike FedEx is their online tracking system.  Or, more precisely, their lack of an online tracking system.  Oh sure you can go log into their website and put your tracking number into the box, but if it’s not been delivered yet you will only see origin scans and pickups.  They do not ever bother to update the current location of your package in their online tool.

In my opinion, they may as well remove this from their site since it provides exactly ZERO usefulness.

FedEx, you suck!

I am attempting to integrate facebook connect login to work with the site. Basically, if you have a facebook account, you can click register and allow email/etc and it will pull your info from facebook for your account. Then you can simply login that way.

I still have to moderate comments at the moment. I don’t totally trust everyone. ;)

Looks like it works to me. It does NOT work in the Developer Version of Google Chrome, however. Not sure why. But it seems to work in IE and Firefox.

Jay Leno is the Brett Favre of Late Night. He’s an unfunny predictable racist geriatric who retells the same jokes over and over and over. Unfunny jokes at that.

Conan is fresh, brazen, and very funny.

I will NOT under any circumstances ever watch Leno again after this and my plans to watch NBC in general are now at an all-time low. The only show worth watching is Heroes anyway. I will follow Coco where ever he goes.

GO TEAM COCO!

Since I no longer have the hand dexterity to build it myself, I’m going with Vigor Gaming for my next PC. I’m looking at their Hornet specced the following way:

Intel Core i5 @ 2.66ghz w/8M cache
Vigor’s Paladin II Antec Case with Vigor’s famous ventilation/cooling options.
550 Watt PSU
MSI P5-5M-GD-45 Motherboard
8GB of Kingston 1333mhz ram.
1TB Hitachi SATA II hard drive
ATI Radeon HD5850 1GB @725Mhz Video Card
LG GGC-H20LK SATA Blu-ray/HD-DVD-ROM & 16x DVD+rw
7.1 onboard sound.
Windows 7 Premium 64 bit.

With my diligence at finding killer discount codes, this will set me back $1316 shipped.

Edit Updates:
January 11 – Ordered the PC from Vigor Gaming.
January 12 – Vigor called and told me my address did not match with Mastercard. Interesting because I just got the card in June and I most certainly have not moved. Gave them my bank’s number. Later that evening, I was emailed and told it was all sorted with the bank. I suspect my bank actually flagged it originally because they know I don’t generally spend more than a couple hundred dollars at a time. They love me.
January 14 – Tried to check status on Vigor’s website. Their status system seems to be broken so I emailed them. I was told that it was on schedule and would be shipped on or about January 25th. I will re-inquire on the schedule on the 18th.
January 27 – It was due to be shipped on the 25th but was running a day late. Then on the 26th, I was informed that Mastercard has the wrong address on file so the bank had to be contacted to verify my address I had provided. It was shipped today and is due to arrive February 2.
