So, I ordered a Kindle Fire today. I’ve had some family recommend it. I have been wanting a decent e-reader and something to play some light games on, especially when I am sick or confined to the hospital. I guess I’ll see how it is. It should be here tomorrow. I’ll try to review it.

I think as a society we need to inform pizza makers that “one topping” pizzas are NOT pizzas. They are cheesy bread. If it doesn’t have at least two toppings on it, I cannot call it pizza.

Rise up and throw off the shackles of the single topping and demand your pizza have a plethora of toppings!

Another year, another Christmas.  I used to be a big fan of the Heaux³ Season.  But, in the last few years it’s just been mostly a day to eat huge amounts of food and feel sick for three days.  I guess it sucks to not be able to be with the person you are in love with at Christmas (again).

Oh, and while I am typing this, there’s a goddamn commercial for mycleanpc. Don’t use ‘em.. you’ll get infected with enough computer STD’s Britney Spears would be jealous. You can use FREE legitimate tools for that including Malwarebytes and Advanced System Care. Get them, use them, don’t fall into a suck-infest by going to the gods of spamware.

Okay, back to watching Mythbusters.

Today, I heard a crazy noise coming out of my PC.  Upon investigating the issue, I discovered that the problem was my power supply fan.  Great, I thought; time to call the place I bought it and get a replacement since it had a 3 year warranty and I just bought it in February.  Of course, I quickly discover that the company went belly-up a month after I bought it.  Wonderful.  I hadn’t had a single issue until now, so I had no reason to go to their website (or rather lack of a website), and I only discovered that they went out of business from wikipedia and there seems to be some “questionable” motives as to their disappearance from business.  I felt I was safe when I made my original purchase as the company had been in business for four years, had extremely favorable reviews in all the enthusiast magazines as well as review sites, and had an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.  I was wrong.  I should have went with Maingear or Alienware like I was going to.

Anyway, I had to spend my Kindle money that I was going to use to buy for myself for Christmas to get a new power supply which will be here tomorrow because I have no warranty now.

I guess I would say don’t buy from Vigor Gaming, but since they don’t exist any longer, no worries, you can’t.

I laid down around 3:30am and tossed and turned because it was hotter than the fires of hell and damnation in my room until around 7:00am.  The thermometer in here read 85F.  So, I crawled out of bed and played a little Recettear to try and make myself tired and I cracked my window with a small pill bottle.  Around 8:45am I laid back down and finally fell asleep.  I awoke around 3:00pm to a room colder than a witch’s teat in a brass bra.  It was 54 degrees in here and the wind was blowing in like a Hollywood hurricane machine.  Needless to say I dispatched the pill bottle and closed the window while snapping the icicles off myself.

So I was playing my mage tonight and I was kicked without any reason from the dungeon group I was in.  I didn’t pull aggro or misbehave in any way and I’m a bit puzzled and slightly miffed about it.  I’ve been playing since February and this is a first for me.  I’ve been a level 80 since April and dungeon crawl all the time and am a 6k gear-scored item level 261 gear horde arcane mage.

I bought the Moonkin Hatchling, too. It’s SO damn cute. Here’s a link to the page: Moonkin Hatchling.

Watched Chris Colfer on Conan tonight.  Screw Twilight, give me Glee!

Au revoir mon amie.

So, yeah, I got into World of Warcraft and seem to have gotten lost in the ether for most of the year after I quit playing Shot-Online Golf.  But, I had some other events happen that weren’t so good.

Due to my edema, I ended up with a rather large open wound on the back of my leg. Sad smile  I had to have a visiting nurse come every other day to take care of it.  Plus, my breathing has not been so great either.  In September, I had to spend 13 days in the hospital and they gave me a catheter. Sad smile  OMG it hurt so bad when they first put it in, I thought they were going to kill me.  I was screaming at the top of my low-capacity lungs the entire time.  Once I got out of the hospital, I felt all right for a few weeks but ended back in there on October 8th until the 21st.  I do not remember the first few days, but they would not let me leave the bed the entire time.

Now that I have been out for a while, my legs still have not recovered.  It hurts to stand, it hurts to sit, and it hurts to walk.  But, I am able to cope with good painkillers and World of Warcraft, especially with Cataclysm releasing soon, and the Shattering has already taken place.

Anywho, I am going to try to update this more.  I know I always say that, too.

Au revoir mon amie.

I have partaken of world of warcrack and I’m hooked. heh. I played GemStone IV for years (a text-based rpg) and always said that I just couldn’t see the point in playing a graphical game.

I’d like to retract that now. Everything is so pretty and expansive. It actually feels like it’s huge and you’re exploring. Plus it’s fun to find new places to fish!

One reason I really dislike FedEx is their online tracking system.  Or, more precisely, their lack of an online tracking system.  Oh sure you can go log into their website and put your tracking number into the box, but if it’s not been delivered yet you will only see origin scans and pickups.  They do not ever bother to update the current location of your package in their online tool.

In my opinion, they may as well remove this from their site since it provides exactly ZERO usefulness.

FedEx, you suck!

I am attempting to integrate facebook connect login to work with the site. Basically, if you have a facebook account, you can click register and allow email/etc and it will pull your info from facebook for your account. Then you can simply login that way.

I still have to moderate comments at the moment. I don’t totally trust everyone. ;)

Looks like it works to me. It does NOT work in the Developer Version of Google Chrome, however. Not sure why. But it seems to work in IE and Firefox.
